The broadcaster announced the deal on Monday, stating it would use capacity on the SES-6 satellite, located at 40.5 degrees West, to provide HD channels to over 600,000 TV households across Brazil. Mileto said the agreement will support its recent acquisition of infrastructure and subscribers from Oi TV, one of Brazil’s largest satellite pay-TV services.
