Indeed it has been made to look corrupt and ridiculous. This cannot be allowed to continue. There is an irony in the fact that the House of Lords is currently the only part of our central government that is functioning reasonably well and upholding the rule of law, citizens’ rights and the constitution in any way.

And who does it better than the Black diaspora, especially when it transcends nations, and we can all relate. But the diaspora content creators – particularly in the UK community – are obsessed with creating what I dub “Caribbeans Comedy.” “Caribbeans Comedy” is not Caribbean culture, but it does rely on the stereotype that all of Caribbean culture is subsumed by one island: Jamaica.

According to Living Streets, parklets are “what happens when parking spaces are transformed into a community space – e.g. with benches, seats, planters, etc.” That they exist to challenge the assumption that “kerbside space is only for car storage” and that it is supposed to be used as “a resting point for people as well as a play area for children.
