I'm a Washington area native who spent 12 and a half years at The Washington Post, first as a Web producer and editor, then as writer of the Post's celebrity and pop culture blog, Celebritology. I am still writing about pop culture, but currently as a freelance writer. My work has appeared in New York Magazine's Vulture, Slate and The Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy.
