Biography
I'm a journalist & editor for titles including Raconteur, The Times, Good Housekeeping, Campaign, Creative Salon Worldwide, Woman's Own, Management Today, HR Magazine, Supply Management, and Children & Young People Now. For the past three years I've worked as a writer and editorial consultant for the Women in Work Summit, producing interviews, regular newsletters, and collaborating with sponsors to create content. Last year I was super proud to work on WiW's Gender Equity Measure (GEM) Report, which assessed 400 of the UK’s largest companies based on board representation, pay gaps, and parental policies. I've also delivered editorial direction and consultancy for a multinational real estate firm, helping them dust off their old-fashioned image and tell the stories that matter most to their people and clients. This approach has helped improve market perception as well as increasing their press coverage and social media presence - including a LinkedIn following that has risen from less than 6k to more than 20k today. Over the decades, I've worked with brands including British Airways, O2, Coca-Cola, BT and Boden to magic up just the right words for projects like the Superbrands book series, customer magazines, campaigns, and websites. My training and experience in journalism, as well as my MA in creative writing, mean I'm always full of questions, ready to listen, and buzzing with ideas.
