I am a graduate of the University of Bristol with a First Class Honours degree in Ancient History. I served as the Deputy Head of Music at the university station Burst Radio, and have co-presented my own weekly live show for 3 years. I have done freelance work for several years for numerous publications both online and in print. This ranges from popular music & youth culture sites, to independent publications championing emerging artists, to student newspapers and radio stations with a huge reach. I am experienced in different areas of music journalism and writing styles; I have attended concerts as press in order to provide gig reviews, pitched and written interesting features, represented the vibrant UK scene with press releases, and published captivating interviews with talented artists. Although I like all genres, I am most knowledgeable on rock and the multitude of sub-genres under its umbrella.
