Hi my name is Jeremiah Prophet. I am a freelance journalist who has severe cerebral palsy. Like JJ Holmes, I can't walk or talk by myself. I write the columns out on my computer by using a head switch. I think my determination has the potential to be a great human interest story for a reporter especially at this moment in time. I have been published 15 times in my life including the articles I wrote as a journalism student at UNT. I wrote a DMN column on how the Trump presidency is undermining the disability community by nominating someone who did not comprehend how important IDEA is in educating kids with disabilities. I added how I could not have obtained my degree without receiving a public education. I ended my op - ed by commenting on Trump's boorish behavior against JJ Holmes.
