Police say Kayden disappeared after wandering away from his aunt’s apartment in the 2700 block of Meadowlake Drive. His aunt says she woke up from a nap and realized her nephew was gone. WREG captured video footage of law enforcement in the pond of the apartment complex during the search.

Officers responded to a house in the 1200 block of Dolan Drive, close to Elvis Presley Boulevard, regarding the shooting around 3:30 a.m. A man was found on the scene and taken to Regional One in critical condition. Reports say the victim told police he was supposed to meet up with a woman he met on a dating site.
