Police said that Delienne Moncrieft, 49, was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with second-degree sexual assault following a lengthy investigation.

The Tolland Fire Department wrote on Facebook to use caution in the area due to the shutdown of a lane. Connecticut State Police said at 12:40 p.m. there were no injuries from the crash and a wrecker had been dispatched to the scene.

"At this time, we believe the victim and suspect are known to each other," Hartford police Sgt. Chris Mastroianni said. "Because of that we are not releasing any further information at this time."Mastroianni did not provide information on where exactly on Capitol Avenue the carjacking took place, what time it occurred or whether a suspect had been detained.
