She will graduate in the winter of 2022 from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick with a double major in journalism and communications. She works in English and French and is the News Editor for the student newspaper The Aquinian. Saulnier has long had an interest in journalism but never considered it as her life career. But, after high school, she followed what she thought was going to be her career and started studies in business at the University of Victoria. Saulnier returned from Victoria and enrolled at St. Thomas University to study communications and there rediscovered her love of journalism. Saulnier began reporting for The Aquinian in her third year. As News Editor, Saulnier searches for stories of public interest to share with the STU community. Her story in the fall of 2021 about the struggles of students to find affordable housing in Fredericton became The Aquinian’s highest viewed article of the publication’s digital history. She is also an intern with Fredericton Tourism, a role that also allows her to tell the stories the stories of her hometown.
