Biography

Born in 2005, Jett James Pruitt is a Pulitzer Prize-nominated, bestselling author and political journalist. He is the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of the international political news website, TheGenZPost.com, and a contributing writer for The National Interest in the area of European Politics. Raised by a single Native American (Taino Arawak) mother in New York City, his unique interest in politics began at the age of nine, blossoming with the 2016 presidential election. His very first book THROUGH THE EYES OF A YOUNG AMERICAN was released only days after his fifteenth birthday, climbed to Amazon's Top 20 Bestsellers in Politics, and was nominated by his publisher for the 2021 Pulitzer Prize. Called one of the "Best Books of 2020" by BooksOnPolitics, THROUGH THE EYES OF A YOUNG AMERICAN is a powerful commentary on today’s political landscape, and offers ways to resolve our nation’s biggest challenges with health care, taxation, social security, trade, tariffs, protectionism, automation, climate change, education, debt forgiveness, wealth inequality, labor, welfare, wages, military spending, border security, universal basic income, capitalism, entrepreneurship, abortion, gun violence, child sex trafficking, racism, and the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. His highly anticipated follow-up THE PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVE: What America's Political Parties Must Do to Win Over Generation Z is scheduled for worldwide release in bookstores late 2025. Today, Jett is a B.A. International Politics student at the prestigious University of London Institute in Paris (ULIP), and enjoys visiting his family in Palm Beach, Florida over the holidays. He looks forward to publishing more articles while in college, attending a powerhouse graduate school, and ultimately working in Washington, D.C. or Europe in the areas of international relations and journalism.

  • The Final Hour: Will Silent Gen Z Voters Tip the Scales for Trump?

By Jett James Pruitt| The Gen Z Post@ With only hours left until Election Day, one has to admit that the 2024 Presidential Election Cycle contained more plot points than a prime-time drama series: a debate debacle resulting in a last-minute candidate swap, two assassination attempts, unorthodox VP picks, multiple verbal attacks, cringe-worthy celebrity endorsements, and a stand-up comic who directly insulted half a million voters in the swing state of Pennsylvania

  • Just How Will Harris and Trump Survive The Wrath of Generation Z?

By Jett James Pruitt| The Gen Z Post@ Generation Z is about to make history. While still emerging as adults and forming unique identities, Generation Z may be the most polarized, siloed, and isolated peer group in recent memory — and the one most likely to change the United States as we know it today
