Jill Becker is a veteran journalist based in Atlanta. She had longtime stints on the staff at Texas Monthly (a regional publication) and American Way (the inflight magazine of American Airlines), and a two-year stint as editor-in-chief of a travel trade publication called Group Travel Planet. A full-time freelancer since 2005, she served for several years as the editor-in-chief of a regional publication called Simply Buckhead, and is currently the managing editor at Atlanta Best Media as well as the editor of both Coastal Lifestyle and NW Georgia magazines.
