I loved that old table model radio with an aerial wire that brought in a selection of AM stations, including local station KYSM in Mankato, Minn, along with WCCO in Minneapolis and St. Paul and other stations. Programs were far more entertaining than anything you see nowadays on those fancy flat screens.
