USA Hockey on Tuesday named Motzko as its head coach for the tournament, which takes place Dec. 26 through Jan. 5 in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn. Motzko, who played on the Dubuque Fighting Saints’ national championship team, recently completed his seventh season as head coach at the University of Minnesota.
