  • City Council to Vote On Franklinton Parking Plan

By Jim Letizia Verified, Alison Holm Verified| WCBE-FM (Columbus, OH) Verified Columbus City Council tonight begins considering legislation to create a special parking area in Franklinton. The legislation will create expectations for developers to provide adequate parking as construction projects are built. Developers could face a $15,000 fee for each required space that's not planned.

Ginther says that's one lesson learned from the previous search, where some candidates appeared reluctant to take the job solo. Former Police Chief Thomas Quinlan was demoted in January.
