But one part of the project — the stretch of road that is east of Southwest 60th Avenue and west of Southwest 46th Avenue — has become somewhat controversial. The county's preferred widening plan, drafted by a consultant, calls for taking 10 feet of land from the Timberwood subdivision boundary.
