Strikes started last Thursday at 11:59 p.m. During the first week, UAW members struck three facilities: Ford Michigan Assembly Plant (Final Assembly and Paint only) in Wayne, Stellantis Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio and General Motors Wentzville Assembly in Missouri.

He figured he'd get his in the mail. But his daughter Annie Taylor and his great-granddaughter Destiny Warren had a surprise for him Saturday when they wheeled him into a gymnasium at the Detroit Police training academy on the city's west side.
