Biography
Presently I cover all Washington and Baltimore teams for PRESSBOX -DC and PRESSBOX Baltimore as a featured columnist. I also serve as the national sports columnist for Sports Talk Florida. For almost 40 years I have been involved in the media on either a network or major market basis. I am a seven time Emmy Award winning television producer, director, writer and broadcast executive. On the sports side I have served as the senior producer of the Big Ten, SEC, and Big 12 football and basketball game of the week. I have produced or directed over 3,000 live events including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, as well as all major college sports. I also directed major concerts including The Police, Queen, Phil Collins and Billy Joel to name a few. My work has been seen on ESPN, USA, FOX Sports and other national and regional networks. On the news side I have served as the Executive Producer and anchor for WTOG TV News, Tampa-St. Petersburg and WOIO TV Cleveland, Ohio. I was in charge of all coverage for Prodigy Online in Washington, D.C. I covered both the White House and Congress. I was part of the management team that developed the start up of four regional sports and news networks. My love of both news and sports gives me great freedom to work in both areas without any problems. It also has given me a chance to build up one of the most extensive contact bases in the broadcasting business. I enjoy writing and covering both news and sports means that I am always close to the big story no matter what or where it might be.
Nascar , Sports Business, Indycar , Mlb, NBA, Nfl , College Sports, Nhl , International Soccer, Sports Media
I have covered industry news but I am looking to move away from that.

By Jim Williams Verified| Athlon Sports Verified For SiriusXM golf host Taylor Zarzour there is no place on earth that he would rather be than the Augusta National Golf Club broadcasting the 89th edition of the Masters. Zarzour hosts "The Starter" every weekday morning at 7am on the SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio channel 92 and he's live from Augusta each day this week. He took time from his busy schedule to talk about the tournament, the challenges of doing golf on the radio and what makes the Masters so special.
