Firefighters from the New Haven Hose Company and Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Department were called to the residential neighborhood 10:35 p.m. Thursday. When firefighters arrived, flames were showing from the first and second floors of the two-story, wood-frame house, New Haven Chief Jeff Layton said. He said the fire was burning from the basement to the roof.
