  • Gorgeous summer-like weather for most of Easter weekend

By Joe Fitzwater Verified| WVNS-TV (Ghent, WV) Verified Saturday sees a few clouds filter in with an approaching cold front, but it will stall along the Ohio River as a result of a strong area of high pressure off of the Atlantic coast. That works in our favor for Saturday with high temperatures jumping into the low 80s with our southwest breeze continuing. Again, with the breeze in place, dry top soils and afternoon humidity values down around 30 percent, burning of any kind is not recommended including during the evening.

  • Here comes the warmth: Temps in the 80s ahead!

By Joe Fitzwater Verified| Yahoo Verified Tonight will be a much milder night than what we have experienced recently – frost will not be an issue with a southerly flow in place that will keep temperatures about fifteen degrees warmer overnight with lows in the mid to upper 40s. We will have a few clouds around with a warm front sliding through and an isolated sprinkle around midnight as a result, but otherwise we will be quiet.
