Verified SAN ANGELO, TX — Two young men from San Angelo were killed late Friday night in a high-speed crash near Wall following a police chase, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The wreck occurred around 9:55 p.m. on April 11, 2025, after a DPS trooper observed a white 2022 Dodge Challenger racing another vehicle southbound on U.S. Highway 87 south of San Angelo.

The driver, who appeared to be the sole occupant, was trapped inside the wreckage until first responders arrived. San Angelo Fire Department medics extricated the man, loaded him onto a gurney, and transported him to Shannon Medical Center.
