By Joel DeFilippo| The Slate (Shippensburg, PA) Verified Various Shippensburg University groups gathered in the Ceddia Union Building Multi-Purpose Room this past Wednesday to participate in the Residence Hall Association’s annual Mocktail event for bragging rights and hundreds of dollars in prizes. The Participating groups each concocted their own non-alcoholic mocktail based on a movie of their choice. They set up their own tables before doors opened for students to taste test the drinks alongside the volunteer judges.

Miller, who identifies as queer and gender queer, has survived decades of living in a culture that has had difficulty with respect and appreciation. Thus, Miller aims to empower and help create a safer space of support but also playfulness. The PAGE center holds regular programs and events on campus.
