John Fennelly is a blogging pioneer, covering sports on the internet since 1997. After a 25 year career in the financial industry, John went back to college to earn a degree in new media/journalism from Queens College. He is widely considered one of the premier sports bloggers on the net, covering the NFL, MLB, boxing, horse racing and golf over the course of two decades. His first novel, DIRTY WHITE BOY, about a New York City playground basketball whiz in the 1970s, was published in January 2018. John was born, raised and lives in New York City and is a longtime member of the Pro Football Writers of America.

  • Former New York Giants TE Don Hasselbeck dead at age 70

The 6-foot-7 Hasselbeck played nine seasons in the NFL, first a staple with the New England Patriots from 1977-83 before finishing his career in 1985 with the New York Giants. He won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Los Angeles Raiders in 1983 and blocked an extra point by Washington in the game.
