Gas vesicles (GVs), air-filled protein nanostructures derived from bacteria, offer unique advantages for noninvasive imaging due to their acoustic and optical properties. In this study, we engineered human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) to express GVs using a doxycycline-inducible system.
