I was a little hasty two weeks ago when I decided to stop deliveries in Rowley and instead distribute papers in their usual drop-off spots around town. Unfortunately, I didn’t tell residents in advance. As a result, a fair few got in touch when their newspaper failed to appear in their mailboxes. So, what happened? Basically, we looked at the books and found that income — primarily donations — from Rowley was falling short.
