A deepening trough will move east of the South-Central Plains. At the same time, an area of surface low pressure will move east and northeast out of Texas across the Deep South and the Tennessee Valley. A warm front will lift north through Saturday allowing deep, tropical moisture to move into the region.

Potential Tropical Cyclone Eighteen currently sitting around 320 miles south of Kingston, Jamaica is expected to move north toward the island nation in the next 24-36 hours. It is expected to become Tropical Storm Rafael by Tuesday morning.
