By Jon Hammond| Tehachapi News Verified Family and friends are mourning the passing of Patty Lee Gamble, 86, a delightful Montana girl who made Tehachapi her home for half a century. Patty passed away peacefully at home on March 27, after a battle with cancer. Patty was dedicated to a career in nursing, and spent more than 50 years as a working LVN, helping patients deal with all kinds of medical challenges. She worked at Tehachapi Hospital for more than 20 years.
