    By Jonathan Phelps Verified| New Hampshire Union Leader Verified An 18-year-old Vermont man fell 30 feet off a ledge on Mount Kilburn in Walpole and needed to be rescued by helicopter Tuesday night, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game. The department was notified about 6:20 p.m. by the hiker’s father, according to a news release. Thierry Salter-Dimma of Bellows Falls was able to call from his cellphone, which gave rescuers GPS coordinates. His phone battery died a few minutes later, so rescuers were unable to speak with him.
