Biography

After a four-year stint in the Air Force, I spent about a decade in executive support doing work I didn't love but wasn't bad at. Started blogging in 2014, and — after a 2015 layoff — decided to pursue my journalism degree at Metropolitan State University of Denver. That led to an internship at the Denver Business Journal, which in turn led to my role as associate editor, where I oversee all events and award-related editorial content. In my spare time, I cover the cannabis and higher-education beats.
