Biography
Jonathan Soto is a first-generation Latino graduate from Cal State Fullerton. He earned a bachelor of arts in communications with an emphasis in journalism and a digital media certificate in 2022. During his time at CSUF, Jonathan was involved with the award-winning newscast OC News, Emmy-winning Spanish newscast Al Día, and student magazine publication, Tusk. He gained experience reporting, anchoring, writing, video editing, producing, and creating social media content. He was a digital content producer for KGW 8 News, the number one local news station in Portland, Oregon. Jonathan also produced and was the host of The Vibe, a pop culture and events segment he created. The Vibe aired on Thursdays in the 4 p.m. newscast and on all KGW digital social accounts.
