It is something the local group Almost Home Dog Rescue NC (AHDRNC) aims to rectify with its SNIP-IT program through a voucher system which can cover up to $200 per procedure. AHDRNC came into its own with their first official dog rescue on April 1, 2020, according to Paula Stone who is on the board of directors for the group.
