Jordyn A. Holman is a business journalist based in New York City. She is a reporter at Bloomberg News covering the changing world of work, management and diversity in corporate America. Her work has been featured on the Bloomberg Terminal, Bloomberg.com and in Bloomberg Businessweek. She's been on Bloomberg TV and Bloomberg Radio as well as MSNBC, PBS Newshour and NPR. In 2017, she completed the FASPE fellowship, which looked at professional ethics of journalists in Germany from 1933 to 1945. The Chicago native received her Bachelor in Arts from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, earning a degree in print and digital journalism. She was named the Outstanding Print and Digital Journalism Student of the Year when she graduated in May 2016. Previously she was a metro intern with the Chicago Sun-Times. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Marketplace Business News, Variety Magazine, the Huffington Post and USA Today College. Jordyn has received industry honors from the National Association of Black Journalists, the Los Angeles Press Club, the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of Society Professional Journalists' and the California College Media Association. She received the Trojan Service Award from the USC administration for her journalism contributions in May 2016. She was president of the National Association of Black Journalists USC chapter. Under her leadership, NABJ USC was awarded Student Chapter of the Year by the national organization.
