  • Limavady man hit with metal bars during aggravated burglary

    By Joshua Murray| The Irish News Verified A man in his 60s has been left injured after being hit with metal bars during an aggravated burglary in Co Derry at 12.50am last night. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The man’s house, in the Kennaught Terrace area of Limavady, was also damaged. The two male suspects, described as being of "slight build, wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered", left the property empty-handed.
