The Scott Community College Culinary Center hosted an event where students worked together to whip up globally-inspired dishes. Reese McRae, an instructor for the Scott Community College Culinary Arts program, said it allows the students to work together. “When they first come into the program, we push teamwork, collaboration and working together, and everybody’s included,” McRae said.

The event, which began in 2017 in Springfield, Missouri has expanded nationally to 11 states, organizers said.
