Juan Ayala is a New York City-based entertainment journalist, podcast producer & host. He has written for MediaVillage.com since 2017 under his column ‘Multicultural TV’, providing critique and commentary on television programming geared toward young and diverse audiences. In May 2020, he launched his first podcast, ‘Actors With Issues’, which features interviews with actors working in television, film and Broadway, sharing their experiences and how they’ve overcome obstacles and issues that actors commonly face, everything from mental health and audition anxiety to imposter syndrome and getting your first agent. Now in its 6th season, Actors With Issues is set to publish its 250th episode later in 2025.
