Biography

Juan Bernardo García is a reporter with experience in print and digital journalism. In 2018, he graduated from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where he majored with a concentration in Spanish-language Journalism. During his time at CUNY, he worked as an intern for Mott Haven Herald and Hunts Point Express. He worked as features editor for his junior college newspaper, Westchester Community College’s The Viking News. At Lehman College, he worked for The Meridian, the student-run campus newspaper, as a reporter from 2015 to 2016, interviewing Lehman students, faculty and public safety officials.
