Julian Stainback is the weekday 6 p.m. producer at WILX News 10, the NBC affiliate covering the mid-Michigan area. Stainback joined the team in May 2022, shortly after graduating with Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and media and information from Michigan State University. Stainback has served as executive producer for the Emmy award-winning, student-produced newscast Focal Point. Being behind the scenes inspired him to be a news producer. He also was audience engagement editor and mental health reporter for The State News, the university's independent newspaper.
