  • Freeway closed, traffic diverted after truck fire this morning

    By Julie Coe Verified| The Daily Advertiser (Wagga Wagga) Verified news, local-news, The Hume Freeway is closed at the Murray River Bridge following a truck fire this morning. Traffic is being diverted off the Freeway at East Street through Albury and then back into Wodonga. The freeway is expected to be closed for up to four hours. The fire was contained to the trailer and the driver of the truck escaped without injury. MORE TO COME.
