Next came the cheery daffodils and the small blue Siberian squills. Bushes and trees join in, bringing yellow forsythias, pink magnolias, white flowering pears, and purply pink redbuds. Green leaves grace many bushes while helicopter seeds hang from maple trees. I love the variety of different blossoms and this year I took extra notice of all the different types of daffodils.

Bartholomew County Public Library Director Jason Hatton said in the early morning hours of Friday, the LEX had a break-in and the vandals used fire extinguishers to spray throughout the hallways and throughout the building, pretty much most of the surfaces inside.
