By Julye Keeble Verified| Uvalde Leader-News Verified Sabinal Mayor Erik Gomez told the newspaper April 10 the city restored water service on for Mary Gonzales and her adult daughter. The city of Sabinal shut off their service shortly before noon April 8 for non-payment on a $2,964 bill. Gomez said he and utility clerk Diana O’Connor’s hearts were deeply moved by a handful of residents who came in to put $10 or $20 towards Gonzales’ bill.
