Biography

It's still possible to be misinformed in the Information Age, because it still profits someone to promote false narratives. I combat prejudice, taboos, and ignorance with transparency and diligence. I'm used to working hard to become an expert in the subjects I write about. I approach new subjects with humility and curiosity. I love doing research and sharing it with others in ways that gets them excited, too. As someone who does this out of love of knowledge, I believe expertise deserves respect, and to keep it transparent and respectable, it needs to be accessible. I share not just what I know, but methods---tools for learning more, for rooting out bad arguments, finding the truth.

  • Famiglia Vagabonda of West Virginia

By Justin Cascio|mafiagenealogy.comIn the early 20th Century, Italians found work in the coal mines of West Virginia and stayed to create a pocket of Italian America that few outsiders know.
