I am a Journalism, Advertising & Public Relations, and Broadcast-Media production triple major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My passion for journalism came through my time in Omaha Bryan High's journalism program where I quickly rose through the ranks becoming editor-in-chief of The Orator Newspaper during my junior year. My work there earned me numerous local and national awards including being recognized as the 2023 Nebraska High School Journalist of the Year. I serve as a Government Watchdog Reporter and photographer for the Daily Nebraskan where I cover student government and the NU Board of Regents.

By Justin Diep| Omaha World-Herald Verified LINCOLN — Loren Eiseley, a Lincoln native regarded as one of the predominant nature writers of the 20th century, was honored Friday with the unveiling of a state historical marker in Irvingdale Park. Eiseley, born Sept. 4, 1907, explored the area around the park as a kid, influencing many of his famous writings such as “The Immense Journey” and “The Night Country," according to a city news release.

The 2nd Annual Plane Pull, hosted by the Women in Aviation Cornhusker Chapter, is the group's largest fundraising event of the year. Teams of three compete to see who can pull an airplane 90 feet the fastest. The plane used this year, a Citation 560XL twin-engine private jet, weighs about 15,000 pounds. Other airports have pulled off plane pulls with bigger aircraft.
