By Kailee Shores| Chattanooga Times Free Press Verified A Chattanooga woman was arrested and charged with child neglect, domestic assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and public intoxication after police received reports of the woman assaulting children in a hotel room. Jamie Walker, 40, allegedly got into an argument with her boyfriend, then began drunkenly assaulting her daughter, according to an affidavit. The boyfriend had left the scene by the time police arrived.
By Kailee Shores| Chattanooga Times Free Press Verified Two teenagers who died after jumping into the Tennessee River from Interstate 75 while evading authorities in Loudon County were students at Brainerd High School. Three teenage boys ended up on the bridge in Loudon County at the end of a stolen vehicle chase on April 9, according to a social media post by the Loudon County Sheriff's Department. The vehicle they were driving, a Dodge Charger, was reported stolen to the Chattanooga Police Department, a spokesperson for the department said.
