  • Griffin man charged with shooting and robbery in Butts County

According to Butts County Sheriff Gary Long, Butts County deputies responded April 3 to reports of a person shot in the area of Shady Lane in Jackson. “Upon the arrival of deputies and investigators, it was determined that the victim traveled from Augusta, Georgia, to meet 27-year-old Andrew Peebles from Griffin for the purpose of making an online purchase.
