Biography

I'm an award-winning writer (poetry, journalism, songs), editor, and the leader of the indie-pop group The Corner Laughers. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I love writing about music, theater, nature, children and families, and anything else that catches my fancy. Publications include the Palo Alto Weekly, TheSixFifty.com, Metro Silicon Valley, the Mountain View Voice, Bitch Magazine, The Bing Times, Dirigible Balloon, Little Thoughts Press, Honeyguide Literary Magazine (forthcoming), Redwood City Pulse, and the Almanac. I also contribute to other musical projects, both in the studio and in live performance, including for kids and families. I'm also available to help with press releases and PR material, ghostwriting, and freelance editing projects. I have an MA in Environmental Anthropology and a BA in Anthropology (archaeology concentration) with a minor in Italian Studies and I was voted "Most likely to hug a tree" in my high-school yearbook.
