Hi, my name is Kate Linderman (she/her). I recently started my new role as a National Real-Time Reporter at McClatchy. I’m thrilled to take on this new challenge while keeping my roots in Chicago. In the last year, I have worked as an audience editor at the Chicago Tribune, worked with the A-Mark Foundation to write and develop a weekly newsletter, documented Chicago City Council for City Bureau and fact-checked for South Side Weekly. In June, I graduated cum laude with my bachelor’s degree in journalism from DePaul University. My work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, WTTW Chicago-PBS, The Record North Shore, City Bureau, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and more.
