Biography

I'm an aspiring digital reporter who has just graduated from Wheaton College MA with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Journalism and Psychology. My experience lies in internships like when I was a full-time news intern at WPRI in Providence, RI where I was a reporter intern who accompanied reporters on stories like the high profile Westport, MA animal abuse case. I also would frequently coordinate with Governor Raimondo on stories like the first off shore wind farm in the US. I was also a producer intern for WGBH's Morning Edition in Boston, MA. There I wrote stories for the web from their radio interviews. I also spearheaded stories like one on the first transgender swimmer to swim for the Harvard men's team. At Wheaton College, I was the Features Editor where I organized and hosted a 30 minute interview with the college president on the high profile refugee scholarship. I also ran a column called Coffee With where I interviewed prominent members of the Wheaton community. Over the past several years, I have been able to gain key insight into the journalism field, covering topics of education, inequality, politics, business, and crime. I have written everything from 200 word debriefs to a 35 page thesis.
