I'm a writer, researcher and editor with 5 years of work experience in journalism and an educational background in communications and development studies. Work Experience Previously, I was a Manila-based journalist for English-language news website Rappler. As head of research, I helped supervise research work and news-gathering activities for the website's investigative arm, Newsbreak. Before this role, I was a multimedia reporter producing breaking news stories, video reports, and research-based explanatory articles on transportation, politics, and development issues. Education I completed my Master of Development Studies (gender and development specialisation) at the University of Melbourne as an Australia Awards scholar.
