We were inspired by a tremendous experience learning from the best at the annual Wine Writers Symposium about the possibility of sharing our passion (and knowledge) for wine in a new way. We saw a void in content that we felt qualified and eager to fill. Over time, life with twins got in the way for Amy and I broadened the scope of the blog to include food and travel.

They moved back from the Boston area to their hometown of Litchfield, CT. And they got married. No stress there!!Mariah started a new job providing HR services for tech startups. She is also transforming the winery’s culture in her new role as “chief experience officer.” Justin transitioned from head winemaker at Noshoba Valley Winery in Massachusetts to owner/ winemaker at Haight-Brown Vineyard.
