THAT SCHEME BEGAN IN NOVEMBER 2024, WHERE THE SCAMMER CLAIMED TO INVEST THE MONEY INTO STOCKS AND CRYPTOCURRENCY ONLINE. THE PLATFORM TURNED OUT TO BE FRAUDULENT. THE VICTIMS DISCOVERED THE FRAUD WHEN THE STOCK MARKET DROPPED, AND THEY ATTEMPTED TO WITHDRAW SOME MONEY FROM THE FAKE ACCOUNTS.

Police say Santillan Jr. threatened to hurt the woman and fired several rounds from a gun into a television. Five children were reportedly in the house at the time.Santillan Jr. drove off in a truck with the gun, police said.
