This comes about two weeks after two men were shot during a shootout there. Both men are expected to recover from their injuries. Abrams is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail without bond.

And that’s two too many. That’s why Northport Fire Rescue partnered with Safe Kids Tuscaloosa for a get together Monday offering tips for ensuring no one leaves their children in a hot car. The safety awareness campaign is titled Look Before You Lock. Northport Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Roger Potter said most children don’t die in hot cars because they are left behind.
